I have seen this quote going around often.
"Sometimes you just have to go outside, take a deep breath, and remember
who are"
I love it for multiple reasons. I wanted to take the time
and break it down for you.
The reason it tells you to go outside is
because it is easier to find beauty in nature. While you are out there
take a moment to take in the sky, look at the clouds, or take in the
beauty of a tree. What this does is
remind you what an awesome world we live in and just how lucky we are to
be here.
Then when your attention is fixed on something beautiful take
ten deep slow breaths. What this does is oxygenate your brain. It
will leave you almost tingly feeling. Do not forget to be glad you are
able to take those breaths.
And lastly think about some of your good
qualities. Are you perhaps strong in the area of patience, possibly you
are a good people person, or tend to be a passionate person.
If you
feel like going the extra mile spend ten seconds smiling.
I promise if
you do these things you will feel 100% better, and ready to face
whatever made you go outside in the first place!
