Great Perspective!

Face Your Fears!

Music Sharing - Living In The Moment by Jason Mraz

Love Drawing!

Let Go Of Your Fears

"Do something that scares you everyday. No matter how big or small your fear is, the only way to conquer it is to face it and do it. Fear is an illusion, make courage your reality. So talk to that beautiful stranger. Jump off that cliff. Take a train to nowhere. Ride that wave. Quit your soul depleting job and do what you love. Follow your heart. Skydive. Kiss that girl. Go to a place you've never
been to alone and explore. Open up your heart to love again. Make your dreams bigger than your fears. You must always do what scares you. As each passing day makes you stronger and braver, your fears will vanish. Liberation from fear, is the most powerful liberation there is. Imagine what you can do, once you let go of your fears." - Stephanie Torres

The Little Things!

A Note From The Universe:

Here are a few techniques learned from children, Lisa, that will help anyone take their game, or their life, to a whole new level:

1. Once a day playfully imagine that you're already there.

2. Frequently speak in gratitude as if you've already arrived.

3. And, every now and then, physically do something you never would have done at the old level... like praise your
self, reward yourself, or cluck a few times with thumbs under your arms.

I'll never tell a soul,

Be Proud To Be You!

This is why each and every one of us should be proud of who we are and put it out to the world fully.

There is only one of you here and you will never be here again as this self.

Push yourself to go for your dreams, and live your life to the fullest no matter what naysayers say!

A Note From The Universe:

The Top 10 things about time and space, Lisa, that most people seem to forget...

9. There are no "tests" and you're not being judged.
8. Everyone's doing their best, with what they know.
7. You already have whatever you're looking for.
6. You are of the Divine, pure God, and so is everyone else.
5. Religion need
s spirituality; spirituality does not need religion.
4. You're naturally inclined to succeed - at everything you do.
3. You happen to life, life does not happen to you.
2. Order, healing, and love belie every moment of chaos, pain, and fear.
1. Following your heart is the best way to help others.

Just One Thing

The number one reason you should live in the moment, and not wait to do the things you love is because you never know when it could all be taken away in an instant!

Do something today!

Do something that you wouldn't normally do, but that makes your heart sing.

Just one thing.

I Will!!

I will do important things.

I will be able to look back with pride on my achievements of helping others.

I will do things that haven’t been done before.

I will build a new system or way of doing things.

I will make this world a better place.

I will be the change I wish to see in the world.

Felt the raindrops splash over your skin.

Sensed them rolling down your face.

Rejoiced the oncoming cold front with the standing ovation of goosebumps.

Heard the rolling thunder cheering you on.

Been a witness to the freedom of the experience.

Truly been in the moment, and loving every minute of it.

Feeling Lost & Alone?

If you ever feel lost and alone. Or feel like no one else can understand what you are going through.

Find one person in your life that you feel comfortable communicating your feelings with. One you know will not judge you no matter what.

Spill your feelings out to them! Do not hold anything back.

I believe that not only will you feel better by letting it all out, but also that person will tell you that you are not alone. They have the same feelings.

We are never as alone as we think we are. When you find yourself thinking you are. Have a little conversation with yourself. (No this does not make you crazy.)

Tell yourself you are not alone. We are all here walking around thinking we are alone together.

And as always do not forget to give yourself some love. We all tend to forget to do that every now and again.

Feel good

You can feel whatever way you choose to feel, so choose to feel good. Feel good about yourself, your world, your possibilities and your life.

You don't have to ignore or deny the difficult realities in order to feel good. You can be fully aware and involved with life's realities and still choose to feel g
ood.

You can endure pain and disappointment and still choose to feel good. For there is a beautiful part of you that can always rise above the most painful and burdensome difficulties.

Choose to feel good, and you put yourself in a position of power and effectiveness. Feel good, and feel the genuine strength of your true purpose.

Feel good, and open yourself to the best possibilities. Feel good, and generate new positive energy for moving forward.

Whatever the situation, feel good about yourself and about what you can do. Feel good about life, and let those feelings create a positive reality.

Music Sharing - Feed the Dada by Dada Life

Ralph Martson giving us an interesting perspective..

Have you ever made a trip to the store, forgotten to buy a certain item, and then had to go right back again? What if you lived 100 miles away from the nearest store? If that were the case, every time you traveled to the store you would carefully plan what to get, to avoid the need for an unnecessary trip. If you did forget something important, however, it would be possible to go back again. But i t would be a lot of trouble, so you would learn to plan each trip very carefully.

With that in mind, consider that you only have one chance to live each day. There’s no way you can go back and live it again. So planning for it is even more important than planning a 200-mile round trip to the store. When you plan each day, and follow your plan, there’s so much more you can get done. The time you spend planning will pay for itself many times over. Make a plan, follow it, and get the very most from each moment.

The Great Balancing Act

There has to be a balance between the ego and the higher self. You cannot surpress one side just because one is not as nice as the other. In creating this harmony you will have a more peacefull existence; instead of fighting one half of who you are.

Life is all about balance. We cannot have the experience of happiness with out also experiencing sadness.

What we all need to learn is when you are sad give yourself love and compassion, and when you are happy then is the time to give it to others.

Breaking it down!

I have seen this quote going around often. "Sometimes you just have to go outside, take a deep breath, and remember who are"

I love it for multiple reasons. I wanted to take the time and break it down for you.

The reason it tells you to go outside is because it is easier to find beauty in nature. While you are out there take a moment to take in the sky, look at the clouds, or take in the beauty of a tree. What this does is remind you what an awesome world we live in and just how lucky we are to be here.

Then when your attention is fixed on something beautiful take ten deep slow breaths. What this does is oxygenate your brain. It will leave you almost tingly feeling. Do not forget to be glad you are able to take those breaths.

And lastly think about some of your good qualities. Are you perhaps strong in the area of patience, possibly you are a good people person, or tend to be a passionate person.

If you feel like going the extra mile spend ten seconds smiling.

I promise if you do these things you will feel 100% better, and ready to face whatever made you go outside in the first place!

Those Special Few

Do you know someone that you love to have with you when anything good happens to you?  You know the type they always seem to be way more excited about the good things that come in life than you could ever dream to be.

When you find yourself in the presence of these people go ahead and let yourself go. Let yourself ride the wave of excitement

These people are not afraid to express themselves, and how they truly feel. When they are squealing with delight; the thought never crosses their mind that someone may think they look silly.

I strive to be more like these precious few.  I am lucky enough in my life to know at least three of them.

Thank you to all those who remind us that it is okay to show happiness expressively.

Perception and possibilities

There may be times when it seems the whole world is working against you. Yet in reality the main thing working against you is your own negative perception.

When one thing goes wrong, then another and another, it seems to you that you're having a bad day. Keep in mind, however, that it's
just your perception.

Instead of judging the day to be a bad one, take action to make a positive difference. Instead of using your energy to build and maintain a negative perception, put that energy into creating positive results.

You are stronger and much more capable than any random negative pattern that may have befallen you. With determination and effective action, break free.

Although life is filled with great challenge, the world is not against you. Even when one disappointment is followed by another and another, you are not having a bad day.

You are living through a day that is filled with countless possibilities. And you can act right now to bring the very best of those possibilities to life.

Let go of your ego

Your ego won't solve any problems. Your ego won't convince anyone of anything.

Your ego won't make you stronger or more skilled or more capable or more knowledgeable. Mostly, your ego will just get in the way of your true essence.

So choose to tap into your authentic power by choosing to let go of the concerns of your ego. Step purposefully beyond those superficial concerns and step up to a dramatically higher level of effectiveness.

Let go of your ego, and many of your fears and anxieties dissolve. Let go of your ego, and the positive possibilities become more numerous, more powerful and more accessible.

Without ego constantly dragging you down, you can focus on what truly matters. You'll find that one of the most powerful things you can do for yourself is to get past your concerns for yourself.

Let go of your small ego and see life's big, wonderful, valuable picture. Let go of your ego, and let your true beauty and goodness soar.

Just Go With The Flow

"Just go with the flow." This simple phrase can either excite you or drive you nuts.

If it excites you it means that you realize we have no control in this life. And that that is okay.

If it scares you it means you like to have control over what is going to happen to you.

You do and you do not have control. Life is full of conflicting theories. You create the world around you; so you have all the control in the world, but if you do not go with the flow of the river of life you will hit all the rocks along the way.

The way to dance this dance is to be prepared, but fluid. Work hard, but be okay when things do not go your way.

And of course the most important things are to be of love and enjoy the ride!

Living your purpose

The way to have a full and happy life is to live it every chance you get. The way to get beyond the excuses is to stop believing them and to start living your purpose.

Decide to see the obstacles as steps along the path rather than blockades. Let the challenges strengthen you, and let the disapp
ointments inspire you to push more purposefully forward.

Whatever the objective, whatever the dream, there is always a way. You can find it and you can live it by thinking and acting from the perspective of purpose.

You will never be truly satisfied by superficial trinkets and shallow pleasures. Remind yourself, again and again, to put your energy into what really matters.

You deserve much better than to constantly wallow in the distractions. You deserve the exquisite experience of bringing your beautiful, unique purpose to life.

Live today, and every day, and your whole life, like you mean it, and like it is the best you can imagine. Because when you do, it is.

Take the time to read it.  I was blessed to have my input on it requested.  There is a little bit of me in this article.  I hope you can open your mind to it, and realize we have far to go, but I feel we will be there sooner than we think.

Let People Ask For Help

Do you know why some people are afraid to ask for help?

It is because of the reaction they get when they ask for it.

The next time someone asks you for your help instead of letting out a sigh or giving a cross look try to be positive about it. Try to act like there is nothing else in this world you would rather be doing than helping out the person in front of you.

Maybe if we all gave this idea a chance not only will more people ask for help when they are overloaded, but also maybe a greater sense of community may start to arise.

Prepare and do

Make sure you're fully prepared, and then make purposeful and effective use of that preparation. Work on honing your skills, and then put those skills to meaningful use.

It's important to be able to make things happen and to make a difference. It's even more important to be clear and precise about the kind of difference you wish to make, and then to step forward and actually do

it.

Excellence and achievement come from preparation, but not from preparation alone. After the preparation is done, then it is time for the performance.

It's easy to get caught up in making sure you have everything just right before taking action. Don't make endless preparation an excuse for never taking that action.

Practice is essential, and yet if practice is all you ever do, it is largely wasted effort. The reason you prepare and practice is so you can put it to good use.

Get yourself well prepared, and then get yourself busy taking action. Make your preparation count by doing the things you've prepared to do.

Focused and relaxed

Focus intently on whatever you're doing, but not in a way that makes you uptight. Keep yourself relaxed about what you're doing, but not in a way that makes you careless.

Staying focused and staying relaxed do not have to oppose each other. In fact, they work extremely well together.

You can pay very close attention to what you do, while at the same time not letting it ge

t you all wound up. You can truly relax and enjoy the task while also giving your very best to it.

Don't think of being focused and highly effective as being something you must fight and strive to attain. Think of it as an extremely fulfilling, natural state, because that's precisely what it is.

Give yourself permission to enjoy and to relax into a powerful, authentic focus. Feel how great it feels to calmly perform at your highest level.

Choose to stay highly focused and peacefully relaxed. And enjoy the experience of being your very best.

Me:
♥ One of my strengths I've always had! Do you have it? Remember what my mother always told me. "You can at least ask. All they can do is say no."

Ralph:

Persistence has power. With persistence, soft drops of water can wear away the hardest stone. With persistence, a tiny seed can grow into an enormous tree. With persistence, what seems to be impossible can in fact be achieved.

With persistence, the setbacks and obstacles are overcome, one by one. With persistence, you will get where you intend to go.

Persistence does not require a massive effort or special resources or exotic skills. To benefit from the power of persistence, all you must do is keep on going.

The Feel Good Lifestyle Facebook Status

If you want to accomplish more & move your life forward this week (and every week), do this simple exercise every Sunday.

Write down in your journal or notebook the answers to the following 5 Q's:

1) What am I excited about this week?
2) What are the 5 most important things I want to get done?
3) How do I want to show up in the world (positive qualities)?
4) What do I have to be careful about (distractions, weaknesses)?
5) What do I want to learn more about?

Takes 15-20 minutes and I guarantee it's going to help you take things to the next level. Have fun & have an awesome week!!

Emotional Process

I have been trying to work on my emotions, because I have always been such an emotional person.

I have found that the way we process our emotions is a little whack.  We are entirely too reactive to them.  We feel an emotion and we immediately act upon it.

Now contrary to what we have been told emotions are good things.  It is our subconsious sending a message to our consiousness about how our true self feels about something.

What we should do instead of reacting is take the time to process the emotion, and decide our response.

The first step in this process is to feel what we are feeling.

The next step is to find our inner compassion.  We cannot make any clear decisions on how to act without first coming from that place in our hearts.

The third step is to be straightforward in our response.  If you aren't straightforward then you are just opening yourself up for further blows to your emotions, and a greater chance you will react instead of respond.

And the last thing to do is to let it go.  Once you've said your peace no matter the other person's reaction/responce you must move on.  You cannot be harbored with your old decisions or you would be constantly reliving them.

If you can follow these simple steps you will go from letting your emotions rule you to having a bit more peace within yourself.

Live In The Moment

If you constantly live in the moment being the best you you can be.

You never have to worry about what happened in the past because you did the best you could do, and you realize that whatever happened then was what brought you to now.

If you are truly living in the moment you will see how beautiful it is where you are

You also never have to worry about the future, because if you are being the best you now you will only bring goodness to you in your future

So stop worrying about the past and fearing the future.

Live in the now and be the best version of yourself you can imagine! ♥

Today is when

Today is when your life is happening. Now is when life's opportunities are yours.

Within you is a dream, a longing, a purpose, a desire to experience life's richness in your own unique way. Surrounding you is a universe filled with energy and abundance, and possibilities.

Now is when you have the opportunity to connect your most treasured dreams with that abundance, and to bring them to life. Focused, purposeful, inspired action is how you can most effectively do so.

On this day, in this moment, the possibilities are more than just intellectual curiosities. Right now, the possibilities are real.

Today you can choose, you can take action, you can make a difference and you can make real, satisfying, lasting progress. Today you have the priceless opportunity to live your life as you envision it.

The best life you can imagine is today within your grasp. So go beyond mere imagining, and live each moment in the direction of the very best you know life can be.

Create a Smile!

Always take the time to play with animals and babies/children, and as well lend an ear to the elderly. You are helping the circle of life in regards to your fellow humans. Always think to yourself, "I would want someone to be kind to my child or my grandmother".

As far as animals go you never know what they have been through in their lives so a little kindness to them might mean the world.

Often all three of these groups get overlooked.

Take the time.

Too many people put off something that brings them joy just because they haven't thought about it, don't have it on their schedule, didn't know it was coming or are too rigid to depart from their routine.

I got to thinking one day about all those people on the Titanic who passed up dessert at dinner that fateful night in an effort to cut back.. From then on, I've tried to be a little more flexible.

How many women out there will eat at home because their husband didn't suggest going out to dinner until after something had been thawed? Does the word 'refrigeration' mean nothing to you?

How often have your kids dropped in to talk and sat in silence while you watched 'Jeopardy' on television?

I cannot count the times I called my sister and said , 'How about going to lunch in a half hour?' She would gas up and stammer, 'I can't. I have clothes on the line. My hair is dirty. I wish I had known yesterday, I had a late breakfast, It looks like rain' And my personal favorite: 'It's Monday.' She died a few years ago. We never did have lunch together.

Because Americans cram so much into their lives, we tend to schedule our headaches.. We live on a sparse diet of promises we make to ourselves when all the conditions are perfect!

We'll go back and visit the grandparents when we get Steve toilet-trained. We'll entertain when we replace the living-room carpet. We'll go on a second honeymoon when we get two more kids out of college.

Life has a way of accelerating as we get older. The days get shorter, and the list of promises to ourselves gets longer. One morning, we awaken, and all we have to show for our lives is a litany of 'I'm going to,' 'I plan on,' and 'Someday, when things are settled down a bit.'

When anyone calls my 'seize the moment' friend, she is open to adventure and available for trips. She keeps an open mind on new ideas. Her enthusiasm for life is contagious. You talk with her for five minutes, and you're ready to trade your bad feet for a pair of Roller blades and skip an elevator for a bungee cord.

My lips have not touched ice cream in 10 years. I love ice cream.. It's just that I might as well apply it directly to my stomach with a spatula and eliminate the digestive process. The other day, I stopped the car and bought a triple-Decker. If my car had hit an iceberg on the way home, I would have died happy.

Now...go on and have a nice day. Do something you WANT to...not something on your SHOULD DO list. If you were going to die soon and had only one phone call you could make, who would you call and what would you say? And why are you waiting?

Make sure you read this to the end; you will understand why I sent this to you.

Have you ever watched kids playing on a merry go round or listened to the rain lapping on the ground? Ever followed a butterfly's erratic flight or gazed at the sun into the fading night? Do you run through each day on the fly? When you ask 'How are you?' Do you hear the reply?

When the day is done, do you lie in your bed with the next hundred chores running through your head? Ever told your child, 'We'll do it tomorrow.' And in your haste, not see his sorrow? Ever lost touch? Let a good friendship die? Just call to say 'Hi'?

When you worry and hurry through your day, it is like an unopened gift....Thrown away.... Life is not a race. Take it slower. Hear the music before the song is over.

Show your friends how much you care. Send this to everyone you consider a FRIEND including me if you consider me a friend. If it comes back to you, then you'll know you have a circle of friends. To those I have sent this to... I cherish our friendship and appreciate all you do. We have some history together.

'Life may not be the party we hoped for... but while we are here we might as well dance!

Dog Philosophy

(Found somewhere on the great and vast internet)

If you live by these dog rules, you will be a happier person! There's a lot we humans can learn from dogs. If you live your life by the same philosophy that dogs do, you will be much better off in life. In the wild, animals fight only for two things, not a fancy car, not clothes or jewelry, they just fight for food or a mate, everything else they get after that is just pure happiness.

1. See life with joy and wonder.

2. Experience the beauty of nature and smell as much as you can.

3. Open your heart to the ones you love.

4. Sometimes you are allowed to break a few rules, go for it.

5. Be loyal, you will keep friends for life.

6. Cravings are good, enjoy them while you can.

7. Make sure you do something fun everyday.

8. Enjoy good foods, savor them like if it was your last meal.

9. Be yourself and you will always have true friends

10. Be persistent and bark until you get what you want.

11. If someone is having a bad day, snuggle the worries away.

12. Enjoy the love of your pack.

13. Delight in the simple joys of a long walk on the beach.

14. Allow people to love you.

15. Less barking, more tail wagging.

16. Celebrate if you feel like it.

17. Get inspired by the simplest things in life.

18. Everything is possible, all you need is love.

A Beautiful Moment.

I found myself lost for a few moments this morning in the beauty of the sunlight coming through the leaves of the trees and hitting the tile floor that belongs in the 70's.

It was absolutely beautiful and reminded me of the swirling of the gases in the universe, dust being carried on the wind, and the movement of water.

So fluid and lovely.

30 Day Challenge - February - No Facebook

I am nearing the end of my February 30 Day Challenge.  No Facebook for the entire month.  I have done remarkably well I'd say!  I haven't even been tempted to cheat!

Even though it feels like the Universe decided to throw in extra temptation on me daily.  Everyday around two-thirty or three o'clock in the afternoon my phone tries to sync up with Facebook, because I had it attached to my contacts.  So about that time every day I go to see what time it is, or see if I have any messages, and there it is... mocking me... the Facebook login screen.  Everyday I clear it, and say "NO! I will succeed in my challenge this month!"

I would have to say that I have broken my addiction.  I do not have the constant problem of my mind wandering to what everyone else has got going on, and I am able to focus more on what I am doing or what I need to get done.

I had my friend handle my Palate Adventurers group, and while doing so she mentioned to me that everything was gone.  It threw me for a minute, but after I thought about it it made sense.  I started pretty much every line of conversation in that Facebook group, and without me it all just disapears.  I would have made more announcements about my decision to take a Facebook hiatus, but I thought it through and I knew that they would just go away with me when I deactivated my account.

A few people got in contact with me to make sure I am alright (Thanks Friends!), and I hope that when I come back all questions will be answered.  If I had a piece of advice to give about doing this it would be to start making announcements in advance about your departure just to save yourself some issues.

For my next 30 Day Challenge for March I will be working on my career for at least thiry minutes to one hour a day everyday.  It can be anything ranging from the path I need to take, articles/blogs on the subject, or scholarship programs.  I have a feeling by the end of March I will be much more prepared to take the path I am currently on!

Where did I get this idea?  Well two places really...

1. The original post came from here 30 Challenges For 30 Days
2. And the idea to do one every month for all of 2012 came from here 12 Tips To Make 2012 Your Breakthrough Year

Walking Adventure 02/18/12

I went for a very enjoyable walk on Saturday.  I found a new way I hadn't been before.  Finding myself now scouting areas to ride our newly purchased four wheeler.  This regretfully will not turn into a riding path, but it had the excitement of exploration nonetheless.  Below are the pictures...

I thought this appeared to me to be a ring of mushrooms.  Perhaps a place where the Fae might live?

A shot of a creek that runs behind a neighborhood.  A simplisticly beautiful sight.

The water was moving very fast, almost dancing, due to a recent rain.

I found this little creek to be very beautiful!

My first attempt to show the depth of these twisted vines.

I'd say my successful attempt to show the beauty of these vines.

A strange sight, but again beautiful in its own way.

I was attempting to show the 'to and from' of this little creek.  The way it would bend one way and then the next, but the debris at the bottom of the picture prevented this.  The angles of the two partially down trees however still creates a dynamic plurality

What I Believe!

I recently had my life turned upside down last year, and I wouldn't change it for the world.

I had been going through life living what felt like a half life.  I had no faith.  I was brought up in the Methodist religion, but after my parents got divorced we stopped going to church.

I was also raised to be very open minded, so it wasn't till my father passed away that I went into a state of pushing religion away from me.  But to be honest I was doing two things at the time; I pushed it away, but my heart secretly brought it closer.  My heart would not let me push it too far away, because it didn't want to think that my dad wasn't in a blissful place now that he wasn't with us anymore.

Fast forward seven years, and now I have faith.  I'm still new to it, and it isn't like the faith most people have.  I believe in something different.  And trust me going through this experience I definitely questioned my sanity a time or two, because it is hard to go against the norm.  The best core values are there, but there's always been certain things about religion I couldn't wrap my head or heart around.

I am telling you all of this, because this morning on HighExistence.com a graphic explanation of something similar to what I believe was posted and I want to share it.

You can find that here.

If you were curious and wanted to know exactly what I believe you can read this book

I won't ever down someone else's beliefs, and I hope that just because I may believe in something different than you that you would honor my beliefs and my right to form them as I see fit.  I hope you enjoy learning a different perspective!  Have any questions or comments please feel free to leave them below!

Namaste!

Live with love +++++++++++++++++++

Life is beautiful. And love greatly magnifies that beauty.

Love has no reason. It is the reason.

Give love, and you have even more. Live with love, and you live with all the richness life has to offer.

Let yourself love sincerely, without expectation, just because that love flows naturally from who you are. Let go of the pretenses, fears and inhibitions, and live with the love that is at the center of you.

Live with love, and it brings out the best in you. Think, speak and act from a perspective of real, authentic love, and the result is genuine and growing fulfillment.

Live with love. For love will carry you forward like nothing else can.

Brief Walk 02/22/12

Yesterday I took a moment and took a short five to ten minute walk and I observed this tree looking AWESOME! I love when the trees loose their leaves, because you get to see their bone structure. The twists and turns of the branches. Don't get me wrong I love them with their leaves as well! :o) My favorite season is Spring!

Breaking down the walls...

The link below is a link to a discussion board on HighExistence.com.  I'm not much of a discussion board person, because I find that it always seems to insite more drama than it does to bring like minded individuals together to have a conversation.  But there are exceptions, and discussion boards can bring out some very insightful information

This post is about cutting through the crapBreaking down the walls that we've built around ourselves to protect ourselves from the judgemental eyes of others.  I would love to do this challenge, but it doesn't feel right for me at this very moment, but someday I will!  Do you think you could handle completing it?  I'm pretty sure if anyone tries it, it would definitely change their lives!  Happy Reading!

If you are impatient, and don't want to read all of this... Here is a link to a speed reader application.  It will take a fraction of the time if you use it!  Spreeder.com
